We're excited to announce our 2025 Fall Fundraiser to help Leftover Love raise the target goal of 3000 USD! As we continue to grow and keep up with demand, we're expanding to take on schools working with youth to educate about food rescue, food safety, food waste, and earning community service/volunteer hours with us.

We're averaging over just under 9,000 lbs/mon and boasting a volunteer network of over 190 volunteers via our ad-hoc Leftover Lovers (those who are on call) and our weekly dedicated Leftover Lovers (those with a set day of the week to regularly rescue!)

For 2026, we plan to work with schools in Baltimore City and the surrounding area to help educate on food rescue, food waste, food safety and logging hours for students who come work with us to give back to the community. We've received multiple requests this year, and decided this was a big opportunity to invest in the future generations to do good in our city. Here's a list of ways you can help us continue to grow!

Volunteer! As we continue to expand into different parts of Maryland, sign up via our website and we'll reach out with a possible food rescue run that fits your schedule!
Connect! Do you know a restaurant, café and or bakery that has leftover food at close of business? Would you happen to know an employee or manager there? Get us in touch so we can have the conversation about food waste and how we can help minimize this and help our community.
