Women on the Rise International, Inc. was founded by Arlene Blake, who turned the profound loss of both parents to cancer into a mission to empower women to rise above life’s challenges. Inspired by her journey, Arlene created an organization uniquely focused on building community, fostering mentorship, and addressing real-world issues that hold women back, such as the wage gap, career dissatisfaction, and leadership inequity. Through our pillars of financial literacy, career development, entrepreneurship, and wellness, we’ve impacted over 5,000 women annually with scholarships, empowerment events, and professional development.
