The Family Cafe Women's Summit

With a theme of “Wake Up Joy!” the 2026 Women’s Summit honors the emotional strength, resilience, and devotion of mothers who are caring for children and adult children with disabilities. The Summit is designed as a single journey in which caregivers move from reflection, to letting go, to renewed clarity, joy, and agency in shaping the next chapter of their lives. Through new knowledge, intention-setting, rhythmic experiences, storytelling, music, movement, and the visual arts, participants will explore how emotionally positive states such as joy, hope, and heart and mind coherence support resilience, motivation, and long-term health.
