This project keeps progressing in wonderful ways that I never would have imagined or dreamed... While I was hanging out in Munising and staying in a beautiful room that was donated by the amazing folks at the Falling Rocks Cafe, co-owner Justin and I sort of inadvertently planned an on-the-fly community hike for the next morning around town and along Lake Superior. With the help of their awesome Manager Denise, about 10 people showed up for a nice morning stroll and the idea was born to organize these community walks in each town as I pass through. We planned another one in Marquette where 15-20 people showed up, some of us jumped off the cliffs at Black Rocks into 42° water, Ore Dock Brewing Co. and Drifa Brewing Company sponsored it, and the mayor Sally Davis joined us for a bit!

We are now planning this one to take place in 2-3 weeks in Green Bay and we are expecting 5-10 sponsors and 100+ people to join us! I have created the hashtag #woodywalksingreenbay to promote this event. If you would like to help make it go viral and challenge the city of Green Bay to walk in the name of mental health awareness, you can share this video or make your own and include that hashtag.

Funds and participates in the Biomarkers Consortium, led by the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health. Their mission is to create and lead cross-sector efforts that validate and qualify biomarkers and other drug development tools to accelerate better decision making for the development of new therapeutics and health technologies
