CMAC is more than a media center—we’re a hub for creativity, education, and community storytelling. Through our accessible workshops, private training, and one-on-one creative support, we empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds to share their voices and stories.

This year has been a busy one! We’ve supported youth in learning media production, partnered with local organizations to amplify underrepresented voices, and provided training opportunities to marginalized groups, including veterans and LGBTQ+ creators. Your donation ensures that we can continue offering these vital services and keep media education accessible to everyone.

CMAC is a non-profit organization created to help citizens, schools, non-profits, public agencies and others better connect with our community through the use of media.

Our Community Media Center is located in the historic Fresno Bee building in downtown Fresno and opened on April 13, 2012. The media center offers a full range of production tools and training at low or no cost to community users, including a TV studio, podcast studio, editing suites, computer lab, meeting spaces, and more. CMAC also operates three television channels on Comcast Xfinity and AT&T U-verse, and a streaming service on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and cmac.tv. These platforms are available for community producers to distribute the video and audio programming they create.
