Thank you for donating to the Tennessee Innocence Project! Your contribution is deeply appreciated and allows us to provide the best possible legal representation for innocent people.

The path to exoneration is long and costly, and support like yours helps us cover the costs required to request documents for investigation, visit clients in prison, obtain DNA testing, contract with investigators, retain expert witnesses, consult forensic experts and more.

Tennessee Innocence Project receives no funding from the national Innocence Project or any other innocence organization and – as an independent non-profit – must raise funds to continue our valuable work. Our clients are represented at no charge, and we spare no expense when someone’s life is on the line. To right even one wrongful conviction requires many people working together; however, there is no partner as important as YOU.

Now in our sixth year, we received and processed over 600 applications from incarcerated people across Tennessee, and successfully exonerated six individuals, who collectively served more than 147 years behind bars.

We cannot free innocent without your ongoing commitment, and we are grateful to have you.

Gratefully,
Tennessee Innocence Project
