FIELD DAY

Field Day is an annual tradition that brings together our entire school community—students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers—for a day of fun and celebration. The day is packed with exciting activities like relay races, kickball, water balloon toss, cornhole, and much more! It’s a time to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our students as we mark the end of the school year. Your generous donation to Field Day will help make this event even more special, providing treats like a snow-cone cart, cotton candy stand, a photobooth, and a face painter for all to enjoy.

ABOUT THE WASHINGTON SCHOOL FOR GIRLS

The Washington School for Girls (WSG) is an all-scholarship independent Catholic School educating students in grades 3-8. Located in Anacostia and serving the surrounding communities, the school provides an excellent and equitable academic program in a supportive environment which engages families and the community in the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of its students and graduates. WSG helps students to become the confident, capable, and courageous young women they are meant to be.

ABOUT THE WASHINGTON SCHOOL FOR GIRLS' AUXILIARY BOARD

The Auxiliary Board is a group of young professionals who support the mission of WSG through service. The Board raises funds to support students at WSG through various events, including Field Day. Additionally, the Board raises awareness of WSG in the Greater Washington region and creates opportunities for students through special volunteer initiatives.
