RADFest 2026
The 17th Annual Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival (RADFest) returns March 5–8, 2026 to the Epic Center in Kalamazoo, MI—bringing together artists, audiences, and community through live performance, screendance, workshops, discussions, and connection.
Recognized as one of the nation’s leading festivals for innovative dance, RAD 2026 will feature 64 artists across six curated programs: Young Artists Series, Durational Performance, Alternative Space, Michigan Made, Short Works, and Screendance.
What makes RADFest unique is its global reach and intimate, community-centered spirit. Free public offerings expand access for all, including a cross-generational dance jam at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, Alternative Space performances, and a special Martha Graham Centennial Lecture with Peter Sparling, former principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company (1973–1987). These partnerships reduce financial barriers and welcome communities with limited access to the arts.
Your Gift Makes a Direct Impact
Our $10,000 Fall Campaign goal (through Giving Tuesday) ensures artists can share their work with Kalamazoo and that community members can access meaningful arts experiences.
