We’re excited to invite you to a special community celebration at ADAMA on Friday, December 27, as we honor the second day of Kwanzaa with art, culture, and connection.

From 1–4 PM, ADAMA will open its doors for an afternoon filled with joy, reflection, and creativity. Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Kinara Lighting Ceremony
We’ll gather to honor the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa and illuminate the spirit of unity and purpose.

• Art-Inspired Scavenger Hunt
A fun, family-friendly activity designed for kids of all ages to explore and engage with the museum in a playful way.

• Explore Our Current Exhibition: Brother, Brother
Enjoy full access to the exhibition as you experience powerful works celebrating Black artistry, identity, and storytelling.

This event is free and open to the community—we simply ask that you register in advance.
