For over 27 years, Family Promise of Las Vegas has stayed true to its mission of helping at-risk and homeless families in Clark County achieve sustainable housing and independence through a compassionate, community-based response. We are taking our service delivery to the next level by building the Family Navigation Center, which will be recognized as the front door to receiving transformational services for families with minor children. As we speak, the construction of this innovative space is underway, and we anticipate having the first phase completed by early fall of 2024. Our new building is being constructed on land donated by Clark County at 3110 E. Twain, LV, NV, 89121. After the Family Navigation Center, we will have ten Bridge Housing Units on site. Bridge Housing will allow FPLV to provide short-term housing to families who are preparing to move into their permanent housing. As families wait to be connected to a housing resource, for a vacant unit, or to be leased up, FPLV will provide the family with a safe and secure space to reside while they work toward permanent housing. Thus, keeping the family intact and out of shelters or a place not meant for human habitation. We will have three unique in-designed kitchens where families will prepare their meals. We will have beautiful common areas to encourage a sense of community and belonging, such as a children's playground for the enjoyment of families with young children, a children's garden, and a learning center. We will operate a Human Service Delivery Model with the infrastructure and management which promotes an improved delivery of services to families with minor children who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk for homelessness.
