Launch Jane L. Rice on a Historic Assignment for America to Cody, Wyoming

This July 2-7th, I have been invited to participate in a historic and prophetic gathering alongside First Nation leaders, intercessors, and worshippers in a national gathering of the healing of the First Nation and land. This sacred assignment is centered on an awakening, a renewal of the First Nation tribes, and healing of the breach of the Everlasting Covenant in Genesis 9 between YHWH with repentant First Nations.

Between approximately 1830 and 1885, what historians now refer to as the Great American Buffalo Slaughter took place. During this tragic period, nearly 60 million buffalo were killed across the United States. For many Native American tribes, the buffalo was not only a source of food, but the foundation of their livelihood, culture, and way of life. The destruction of the buffalo deeply impacted generations of Indigenous people and remains a deep painful wound in American history.

Leaders from across the nation and globally will gather and pray on the land in Cody, asking for healing from the bloodshed, injustice, and brokenness connected to these historical events. This moment of confronting “the head of the snake,” is monumental in that we will be addressing deep historical wounds at their root so healing and restoration can take place in the United States and with the First Nations.

This gathering comes during a remarkable spiritual season in America. This year has already included significant moments of national prayer and rededication on May 17th, 2026 including gatherings during Passover and the Presidential nationwide call to prayer leading up to Independence Day and the USA's 250th Year Anniversary. On July 4th, I will represent the Taiwanese Hakka tribe along with the First Nation people in a parade to bless and dedicate the nation together— honoring the "Principle of First" by recognizing and uplifting the people who inhabited this land first. We'll be receiving a Taiwanese delegation of indigenous people as well.
