Join our Hands4Life Team as we (once again!) plan to participate in the Annual Seamark MudRun, April 26th.

The run will consist of 25 challenging obstacles on natural terrain - 468 acres of a working ranch to be exact!

WHY ALEX x HANDS 4LIFE:

Alex Shewey had an adventurous, kind, compassionate, and goofy spirit. He had graduated from college with an Aviation degree with dreams of being the pilot for his families non-profit organization, Hands 4Life. Alex was a friend to all ages - he could play with kids and make them laugh, as though he were one of them, and he deeply enjoyed spending time with his grandparents and their friends. Alex loved all people. He found joy in whatever activity or event he found himself at. Simply put, Alex loved life.

It's with that same joy for life that we choose to celebrate and honor Alex at the Seamark Ranch Annual Mud Run. We celebrate him as a Hands 4Life team, honoring the dreams and commitment he had to his family, community, and heart to serve others. While also celebrating in an activity that Alex and his family have fond memories of competing in together - the adventurous and goofy memories that a mud run offers.

MISSION, VISION, & VALUES OF HANDS 4LIFE:

The elderly population is rising at record rates worldwide, especially in developing countries that do not have the advanced technology, medicine, and care needed for those older than 55 years old.

The number of adults aged 80 years and over is projected to triple worldwide over the next 30 years. Yet, who is taking care of and protecting this vulnerable community?

In developing countries, two-thirds of the elderly are neglected by their family members, and one-third are suffering from physical and verbal abuse. The greatest tragedy is the unimaginable suffering the elderly endure at the hands of those meant to love them. We believe our elders should be deeply revered and deserve to experience God’s love in a safe haven with caregivers who love them.

Hands 4Life was created to obey the Commandment of honoring our fathers and mothers. We are dedicated to ensuring the latter days of our elderly are their greatest days.

Hands 4Life is one of the very few missionary organizations that completely cater to the needs of the elderly by providing a secure and loving home and education for caregivers. Will you help us protect the aging mothers, fathers, and grandparents of the world?
