Join us at KANEKO for an interactive and improvisational sound experience with sculptor John Clement and sound artist Stacey Barelos.

KANEKO is hosting a special reception and program to celebrate the John Clement: The Answer Is Love Exists exhibition and the release of John Clement’s exhibition catalogue. The multigenerational program will begin at 6:30 pm with KANEKO members having an opportunity to speak with John Clement in the KANEKO Library, followed by a 7:00 pm public, interactive and improvisational sound experience with John Clement and Stacey Barelos, an Omaha-based sound artist who performs, creates and teaches throughout the Omaha community, the U.S. and abroad. The audience will be invited to contribute to the sound landscape with a variety of instruments as they view the art, and to create messages of hope aligned with the exhibition theme.

The John Clement: The Answer Is Love Exists catalogue is a beautifully illustrated hardcover book published by KANEKO. The catalogue examines John Clement’s early and recent works, exploring the themes of love and hope.
