Manny has cancer and needs our help.

He was found abandoned in northeast Austin and unable to be approached by bystanders. They let us know he was hiding in some bushes and our team went out to rescue him.

Once he was caught, we noticed a limp and a big mass on his back paw.

Manny had his intake exam and a biopsy done and it’s a mass cell tumor, cancer.

In the best of worlds, we find out that it hasn’t spread, can be surgically removed and Manny lives a long, wonderful, happy life.

However, due to some swollen lymph nodes and occasional panting with low exertion, we need to run an ultrasound to ensure that the cancer has not metastasized to anywhere else in his body.

In addition to what we’ve already done and the further testing and possible surgery to remove the tumor, Manny will (once green lit) also need neuter surgery and more medical.

Manny is also Heartworm positive and will need to undergo treatment for that as well.

This boy deserves the world and we are so grateful we found him when we did.
