Project Restart is a nonprofit organization that provides life skills training, financial education, entrepreneurship education, mentorship and capital to formerly incarcerated adults. The aim of this program is to reduce recidivism through education, empowerment and support.

Upon completion of our signature 12-week training program, participants are eligible to receive capital to be used to support their entrepreneurship, employment or education venture. Post-graduation, our program continues to support alumni and other individuals in need of mentorship and ongoing life skills training. In 2023, we hosted our inaugural job and resource fair and a health fair and in 2025, we co-hosted the inaugural Second Chance Summit bringing valuable resources and connections to the Atlanta Community.

In summer 2026, both the Second Chance Summit and the Project Restart cohort program will return. Registration is now open for the summit at www.secondchanceatl.com and applications for the cohort program will be available online on our website in March of 2026.
