We are a small board of volunteers called the Higher League Authority (HLA) that serves our Big Island Communities through nine active associations with approximately 547 children who participate with our Football and/or Cheer programs, under the 501c 3 non-profit Pop Warner Little Scholars called Big Island Pop Warner Football Conference.  

Pop Warner's mission is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives, while emphasizing the importance of academic success.

Pop Warner’s core focus is to serve youth. We strive to 1) encourage and increase youth participation in football, cheerleading and dance, to 2) ensure a safer and positive playing environment for all participants, and to 3) instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic on the playing field and in the classroom. In fact, Pop Warner requires each participant to demonstrate scholastic aptitude to participate in its sports programs, and awards college scholarship funds to its highest-achieving student athletes.

We are humbly asking for monetary donations to which all proceeds will go towards supporting HLA for our Big Island Pop Warner Football Conference.
