Two years ago, Risalah School of Excellence opened its doors with a dream — to nurture young hearts and minds in an environment rooted in faith, excellence, and compassion.

From a small handful of students and passionate educators, we’ve grown into a vibrant community where we learn, pray, play, and thrive together. Every day, our classrooms buzz with curiosity, our hallways echo with laughter, and our gym fills with energy and joy.

But with every blessing comes responsibility. As we grow, we must also grow in safety.

This year, we’re taking an important step to protect every life in our care — by equipping our school with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

An AED is a life-saving device that can restart a person’s heart in the event of sudden cardiac arrest — a condition that can strike anyone, at any time. It can mean the difference between life and loss, between tragedy and hope.

Our school is expanding. We host daily classes, sports, after-school activities, and community events. With children, parents, and staff on campus throughout the week, having an AED isn’t just recommended — it’s essential.

Yet, as a young nonprofit Islamic school in our second year, every dollar we receive goes directly into building our programs — academic excellence, Qur’an, Arabic, robotics, wellness, and emotional growth. While we continue to strengthen our foundation, purchasing an AED is an extra cost we simply cannot cover without community support.
