FREEDOM July 2025

Dear Friend,

As I write these letters every month, I try to be genuine yet a little generic. I try to be relatable but not repetitive. I try to tell a little of our story but not bore you with too much! But there are a few special months that I might go a little deeper.

For me, one of those months is July! Without apology, I am VERY patriotic, I LOVE this county that I live in. Celebrating Independence Day is always a big thing with our family. I hope you love this imperfect country as much as I do! BUT, as much as I love the freedom that our country provides; there is another freedom that I love even more.

The Bible tells us about this special “freedom” in Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” You see the main goal of the Union Gospel Mission is to share the news of this incredible freedom that God through Christ has afforded us. Through this freedom, in Christ, we have seen, are seeing, and will continue to see; lives in bondage be released to live a life that counts for something!

We need your help to spread this special message that we might continue, either through our residential programs or through our Community Outreach; “Meeting Needs, Making Change, and Magnifying Christ” to even more people. Please consider partnering with us this July!
