"It is with a heavy heart that I share that the lower barn at Memory’s Hill burnt down in the early morning hours this morning. The barn was full because of the rain, Eliseo was able to get everyone out except one that he couldn’t get to when the roof collapsed. 3 other horses that were loose ran back inside. Tara and Eliseo are ok. If we have not contacted you directly, please know that your horses are ok. We are having the vet come to check those who were close to the fire. I am currently getting on a plane from Florida and will arrive late morning to meet with the fire department and develop plans for moving forward. We please request that no one come to the farm today, as we need time to go through things and devise a plan for how to best care for both horses and humans that have had to endure this. This is an unfathomable tragedy and we ask for your love and support for those who have lost their horses. "
