Arielle’s Light is a newly founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to mental health care, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and creating safe spaces for support, hope, and healing. Our mission focuses on helping individuals—especially youth and young adults ages 13–25—who face barriers to receiving essential mental health services.

Born from personal loss, Arielle’s Light was created in memory of our daughter, Arielle, who tragically died by suicide on November 5, 2024, after silently battling mental health struggles. Her passing left our family and community searching for answers about the obstacles that kept her from seeking help. In response, we founded Arielle’s Light to bridge critical gaps in mental health care access and to encourage open, judgment-free conversations about seeking support.

This November, we’re honoring Arielle’s life and legacy by running the Santa Barbara Half Marathon—just days after the one-year mark of her passing. Every mile we run is a step toward healing, a challenge against stigma, and a call to action to prevent suicide.

Our team is running to raise funds that will go directly toward covering the cost of therapy for young people who cannot afford it. With your support, we can provide access to life-saving care, open up space for real conversations, and bring light to those who are struggling in silence.
