Health Professionals Network for Tigray (HPN4Tigray) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit and non-partisan organization that is committed to improving access to healthcare for those impacted by the war. Our organization aims to provide support for the unmet humanitarian needs in Tigray and beyond.

As you may be aware, the war and the blockade of access to humanitarian aid in the region of Tigray, Ethiopia has led to the collapse of the healthcare system, and many communities without access to basic healthcare services.

HPN4Tigray has been working closely with our partners on the ground like Ayder Hospital, our sister organization Maedot, as well as, Operation Rescue to procure and provide essential medications like insulin, medical/surgical equipment, and nutritional support for malnourished children. We have also continued our work with the health professionals in Sudan to address the medical needs of our refugees while doing what we can to get medical aid into Tigray when possible.

This campaign was set up to purchase medications and medical supplies according to the needs assessment provided by our partners on the ground. HPN4Tigray continues to prioritize the procurement of these much-needed medical supplies and is committed to utilizing every resource at hand. To this end, we are happy to inform you that HPN4Tigray has allocated more than $400K since the launch of this campaign, and continues to meet the unmet needs that persist. However, this is a drop in the ocean, and the needs on the ground far exceed what has been provided so far. For this reason we need your resources, connections, and your support to continue to help save lives.
