Giving Tuesday is a movement that encourages and inspires radical generosity in support of non-profit, charity, and faith-based efforts around the globe. This day of giving helps support the incredible work being done and the sacrifices being made to help make local communities stronger, healthier, and happier places. Giving Tuesday helps to not only provide necessary connections, finances, and resources for organizations in need, it also fosters a spirit of gratitude and support that helps to encourage those who are working diligently to shine love and light in their communities.
Combat Ministries, Inc. (CMI) continues fighting the "good fight" for Madison County and works to connect students (young and old) to a safe and compassionate community that engages, educates, and equips leaders to inspire positivity in their homes, schools, and communities. This is only possible through the incredible support and generosity of our community partners and donors.
This year's Giving Tuesday Goal reflects the efforts of current students at the community center as they spent the month of November fundraising to help support growth at The Center. They set a new record this year by raising $2,176 dollars through Penny Wars, Calendar Donations & Candle Sales. To help finish the year strong, we want to match what they did and dedicate all proceeds to the 2026 Scholarship Fund at CMI. This fund helps to guarantee that families going through financial hardships are never excluded from programs that have tuition costs at The Center.
