As the holiday season approaches, many in our community are in NEED. With Christmas just around the corner, inflation and rising food costs have made this year especially difficult for thousands of families. Let's come together to bring hope and joy to those facing greater challenges during this season of giving.

The Rochester Chapter of Jack & Jill of America is partnering with

Champions of Change to give back to the community. Christmas in a bag, we are raising money to put gifts, gift cards, games, pajamas, and Christmas decor for those who are shelter-bound or wouldn’t have the means to celebrate the holiday otherwise. We ask each family to donate $45 or more to make this possible. Your generosity will make a world of difference in brightening someone's holiday and letting them know they are not alone.

Together, we can share the true spirit of Christmas. Every contribution counts.

Here’s some background on Champions of Change that will help you understand why we want to partner with them this year.

CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE has ramped up its efforts to do more than ever for our local families in need. In November of last year, they provided Thanksgiving baskets AND TURKEYS to Rochester families that were in need. In December, they blessed almost 100 homeless people in Rochester with an all-expenses paid 3 day staycation at the Hilton so that their children did not have to wake up in a shelter on Christmas! Each room was fully decorated with a tree, stockings, new pjs, toys, gifts, welcome baskets, movie kits and so much Christmas Cheer!

Since the onset of the global pandemic, Champions of Change has sent groceries, rent relief, care packages and meals to local families who found it hard to make ends meet! They also blessed single foster moms with hotel stays in Rochester for Mother's Day, this past year they hosted 5 princess parties for foster girls in 4 cities, hosted chocolate hair in vanilla care hair days in Rochester to help foster parents better understand different hair types, sponsored a STEM day for local foster children, sponsored a group of 25 foster girls to go see Cinderella at the Geva Theatre, took a group of 25 foster kiddos to Disney just to name a few! These things would not be possible without the generosity of people like you!
