As the President of the Autism Family Alliance Foundation, and I am thrilled to introduce an exciting and impactful fundraising campaign that embodies our commitment to making a difference in the lives of families affected by autism.

Our mission at Autism Family Alliance Foundation has always been clear: to effectively alleviate the barriers individuals and families face in accessing critical autism care . We understand that families often encounter not only emotional and logistical hurdles but also significant financial burdens in their pursuit of the best possible care for their loved ones with autism.

In pursuit of our mission, we are launching the "Strides for Autism" fundraising campaign. This campaign calls upon our incredible community of supporters, advocates, and friends to join us in making every mile count for autism. We are setting our sights on a full marathon, 26.2 miles, symbolizing the endurance, resilience, and unwavering commitment it takes to support individuals with autism and their families.

Here's how it works: As the President of Autism Family Alliance Foundation, I will be personally kicking off this campaign, running a full organized marathon on September 23, 2023! For every mile I complete, I'm asking for your generous support of $0.25 per mile, totaling just $6.55 per donor for the entire race. These funds will be directed exclusively to our Family Grant Programs, which play a vital role in alleviating the financial strain that often comes with accessing medically prescribed treatments for autism.

By participating in this campaign, you become an integral part of our mission to ensure that no family is burdened by the out-of-pocket costs associated with autism treatment. Together, we can empower families to access the therapies and interventions that are so crucial for their loved ones' growth and development.
