2026 Annual Campaign - Donate to Community Mindfulness Project

We envision a world where mindfulness is a broadly-distributed, community-based skillset.

Fairfield County, CT, now has the second-highest income inequality among all metropolitan areas in the country (CTData Haven, 2023). We know that increased income inequality has been associated with higher rates of crime, greater consumer debt, and poorer health outcomes (PNAS, 2016).

A community that is healthier, happier and more connected. It's not a day-dream, it's a reality we can continue to build, together.

In 2025, we led 149 training courses and 364 community access programs. With 18 facilitators and 145 volunteer hours. And we're expanding in 2026.

These numbers represent countless moments where mindfulness isn't abstract, it's lived. As a skill and practice we are showing up weekly in libraries, recovery centers, classrooms, with case managers, and alongside those grieving and managing daily life. In these moments, people are learning to regulate unhealthy stress, regain confidence, and move forward when life can feel hard. We are present with a smile, providing space to pause and honor hope. It can change everything.

Because of supporters like you, we know that mindfulness is transforming lives in Fairfield County.

Your generous support will:
  • Fund our staff's trauma-sensitive training through our 2026 facilitator learning program.
  • Sustainexpand, and support establishment of new proprietary mindfulness programs.
  • Catalyze growth in our community partnerships with public schools and health-and-education-service nonprofits.
  • Sponsor caregivers, public sector workers, frontline workers in our highly sought after burnout prevention and stress management curriculums.
When we talk about our community we mean all of us.

Teachers. Caregivers. Teen mothers. School counselors. Health care workers. Children of immigrants. Individuals with chronic illness. People affected by gun violence. Fathers returning to society after incarceration. Those in recovery from substance use disorders.....

People like B*. She suffered a traumatic brain injury after being shot. Upon reflection following our Intro to Mindfulness 8-week program, she shared:

"these practices are the only things that slow my traumatized brain down so I can catch up to it."

Our resilience makes us who we are, reminds us why we do this work, and pushes us to forge forward unafraid.

Your gift to our Annual Appeal helps cultivate a healthier, more resilient community through accessible mindfulness tools.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or donating for the first time, thank you.

Your generosity has a profound, daily impact.
