"My library is a peaceful place." -Bruce, age 18

There is a well-worn path running from school bus stops in the Russell neighborhood to the doors of the Western Library. That's no surprise to Ballard High School grad, Bruce Hanserd, who started the trek in elementary school. Today, Bruce is a political science major at Lindsey Wilson College and aspires to be elected President of the United States in 2040. Donate now to empower library staff across the city with the resources they need to be there for young leaders like Bruce every single day.
