Disappointed with the images you've captured of the Prismatica Installation? We're here to help with a photography workshop focusing on capturing captivating images in low-light situations.

The Downtown Providence Park Network will be welcoming back photographer José Ramirez to lead this workshop. This workshop will help you take pictures with a piece of photographic equipment you already own-- your smartphone!

We'll meet on the west side of the Michael Van Leesten Memorial Bridge for around half an hour of instruction focused on low-light and night photography, and then we'll have a chance to try out our new skills with José's guidance and feedback.

"What I love about photography is being able to capture the beauty around us, showing a perspective of things that others might no be able to catch, even in sadness or “bad times” there’s also beauty. To me the greatest satisfaction is when someone connects with an image I have produced."

Notes:

This program will focus on mobile phone photography and all of the content of the workshop will focus on utilizing mobile phones.
There will be no bathrooms available for this event.
This workshop is limited to the first fifteen registrants. If you need to cancel your ticket, please let us know so that we can give someone else your spot.
In case of inclement weather, we will postpone the event to February 16th. Registered attendees will be notified of this change no later than the evening before the event.
