Support Innovative Kids Cancer Research 2026

Glimmers Childhood Cancer Foundation & Ava’s Story

Glimmers Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded by 13-year-old Ava Decker while she was bravely fighting osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood bone cancer. Even in the midst of treatment, Ava was determined to help other children facing cancer by funding better, safer, and more effective treatments.

Ava passed away on May 9, 2024, but her vision lives on through Glimmers.

Our mission is simple and urgent: to invest in the most cutting-edge pediatric cancer research with the goal of discovering less toxic and more effective treatments for kids fighting cancer.

In just over one year, Glimmers has raised over $650,000, all directed toward innovative childhood cancer research.

Every dollar donated goes directly to advancing life-saving science and bringing hope to families facing the unimaginable. We operate with transparency, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to maximizing impact.

When you give to Glimmers, you are helping turn Ava’s dream into real progress for children everywhere.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
