Canva custom creation Hoops for Hope, a simple, meaningful way for our players to give back while doing what they love. Between October 28-30, each Legacy Hoopers athlete will shoot free throws to raise awareness and funds for PPP3CA. Our standard pledge is $5 for every made free throw (flat gifts welcome).

How it works

• Each player shoots for 2 minutes while volunteers count makes.
• Sponsors pledge $5 per made free throw. (Flat gifts welcome.)
• After the event, sponsors receive an email with the player’s total and a secure payment link.
• Optional: sponsors may set a maximum (e.g., “up to $25 or $30”).

What is PPP3CA?

PPP3CA is a gene that helps brain cells communicate by controlling a key enzyme called calcineurin. When this gene doesn’t work as it should, some kids face early, difficult-to-control seizures and developmental challenges. Your support fuels research and family programs in the PPP3CA community.

The PPP3CA Hope Foundation™ is the first parent-led non-profit with the mission to raise awareness, provide support for families impacted by PPP3CA, and promote and fund research directed towards a cure for individuals with PPP3CA.
