Thank you ALL for your tremendous support for our trip to Petals of Africa School. We exceeded our fundraising goal and were able to accomplish so many wonderful activities while we were there!

With these donations, we purchased:

school supplies (exercise books, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, puzzles, Legos, books and more)
sports equipment such as soccer balls, volleyballs, volleyball standards and net
120 mosquito nets for the dormitories
300+ plates, cups and water bottles- one for every child
25th Anniversary T-shirts for students, faculty, staff, drivers...everyone!! (pictured above)
paint for desks, chalkboards and murals
a very special lunch with beef for the entire school
and MUCH more!

We had a beautiful 1.5 day safari in the Maasai Mara with the teens after our service at Petals, which was spectacular and a beautiful way to round out our time in Africa.

The NLC (DiscoveryBound National Leadership Council) class of 2026W is volunteering at Petals of Africa School in Migori, Kenya for 6 days this summer. The funds raised here will be directly spent on supplies for the work we're doing at the school and for a special (short) safari with the teens at the end of our trip. Your donation would go toward newly painted and repaired desks, agricultural tools, curriculum, clothing, and paint for classrooms. Funds given through GiveButter are not tax deductible, but for donors that require it, can be coordinated through donations to E3Schools.org linked below.

While this is a group fundraising effort, each teen is practicing their leadership skills by raising $500 or more for this trip.
