Support Orphans in Iraq
In remembrance of Azhar Mehsen, a beloved member of many communities, some of her closest loved ones initiated the humanitarian project, Azhar's Flowers, to mark the three year anniversary of her passing. The organization focuses on carrying forward her loving and giving spirit through a variety of efforts which you can learn more about on our website.
Our inaugural fundraising campaign intends to raise funds for an orphanage in Iraq which Azhar passionately supported. These funds will be given to trusted members of our community who will make certain they are received by the individuals who manage the orphanage to support the welfare of the children in need.
As we are a young organization, we are still working to obtain proper certification as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are also working to collect more details we can advertise about the organizations we support to provide the rightfully-expected transparency donors deserve. As of now, we are only advertising this campaign to individuals we personally know while we work to build public trust as our organization grows.
Funds will be managed by Yasir Jensen, Azhar's grandson, who will personally ensure these funds are sent in full to the Iraqi orphanage. This is an organization our family has supported for years, with consistent communication and direct involvement by our close family members.
Even if you are not able to donate, we hope that you are able to engage in an act of compassion today, no matter how big or small. Thank you!
