Civic Heart's Rescue in Motion 2.0 is one of our longest-standing programs. Our services include connecting participants to mental health resources, access to food pantries, life skills groups, job training, transportation assistance, and even utility allowances. While we provide as much as we can, there are still gaps that only our community can help us fill. Through this program, we provide permanent supportive housing for 68 chronically homeless individuals with diagnosed disabilities. Our mission is clear, to help them maintain stable housing and prevent a return to homelessness. That’s where you come in.
Donations can go a long way to help with welcome home baskets, utilities, non-perishable food items, toiletries, and rent assistance for participants responsible for a portion of their rent. If financial support isn’t an option, you can volunteer at local shelters, food banks, or right here at Civic Heart. You can also advocate for policies that improve housing access or help us spread the word on social media. Together, we can ensure that our participants not only stay housed but thrive in a space free from the threat of homelessness.
Join us in making a difference, every bit of support helps.
Thank you.
