2024 marked another eventful year at the library:

We were one of fifteen finalists for the prestigious National Medal for Museum and Library Service.
We successfully hosted Lambertville Public School's 1st through 6th grade students during the school construction.
We participated in several community outreach events, including marching in the Pride and Memorial Day parades, hosting a pop-up library during the summer, and scooping ice-cream at Owowcow during a dine-and-donate fundraising event.
We expanded our programming for children and adults, including LEGO club, a senior technology workshop, the return of Thomas the Tank Engine Day, and book club.
We celebrated a third successful Oaxaca Day festival.
We are working with the city on lead remediation and painting the exterior of the building.
We are planning to mark the library's 100th anniversary, including launching a One City One Book program.

So much of what we accomplished this year could not have happened without the support of the community and city government. The library remains committed to deepening its connection to the community and to ensuring that we are serving all Lambertville residents, now and in the future.

Yet, as always, there is more work to be done, and we rely on loyal patrons like you to help us aspire and grow. As we near the end of the tax year, we ask you to consider making a year-end donation to the library.

Funds raised during this second annual appeal will be used to build more adult and children's programming; to improve exterior signage; to continue to make the library a comfortable and welcoming space for all patrons; and to start preparing for the 100th anniversary of library in 2025-26.

We are grateful for the steadfast support and loyalty of our patrons. Our mission--to inspire and assist the community to learn, explore, create, and connect—would be impossible without you! On behalf of the staff and trustees at the Lambertville Free Public library, we thank you.
