Creative Futures Monthly Donor Program

The only lasting truth is change.” At South End Stories, we see this transformation daily in how youth use the stories they tell to reimagine their futures.

The Creative Futures Circle is South End Stories’ monthly donor community for people who believe youth are not just adapting to the future, they are imagining and creating it. Your recurring gift sustains storytelling, arts integration, education, and youth-led creative spaces where where Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian youth lead storytelling rooted in cultural identity, resistance, and joy.

Monthly support allows us to respond to change with care and creativity across King County, investing in teaching artists, deepening school and community partnerships, and ensuring youth voices are centered, resourced, and honored year-round. Together, we are building creative futures rooted in community, imagination, and belonging.

• Quarterly updates on youth-created work and program highlights

• Invitations to 2-3 showcases, conversations, and community events

Seed Shapers – $10/month

Change begins with intention.

Seed Shapers are the foundation of Creative Futures. Your monthly gift plants the seeds that allow young storytellers to explore their voices, experiment with creative tools, and imagine new possibilities for themselves and their communities. Seed Shapers helps provide classroom art supplies for an elementary storytellers club. 

You help sustain teaching artists, classroom partnerships, and youth-centered creative spaces where growth is nurtured over time.

Future Builders – $35/month or more

We shape change and change shapes us.

Future Builders invest in transformation. Your recurring support strengthens South End Stories’ ability to adapt, expand, and respond to community needs supporting multidisciplinary showcases, youth-led storytelling projects, and deeper investment in the people who make this work possible. Future Builders funds a student’s participation in a full showcase cycle - from storyboarding to public performance. You help turn imagination into action and visions into lasting creative futures.
