We are Celebrating Brenda Slavik, and her 40 Years of Service at The Hobart Humane Society!

This July 4th we honor our country, our democracy, and Our Community Hero, Brenda Slavik! Brenda has served at The Humane Society of Hobart for 40 years protecting pets, pet families, and working alongside law enforcement to help pets in crisis.

Her journey over the years is compelling and honorable. There are very few individuals in the animal welfare field who can endure the many years of lifesaving she has. Join us as we celebrate her today and honor her work, dedication, and compassion.
