SNOWBALL NEEDS SURGERY FOR HIS BROKEN LEG
Sweet, gentle Snowball has a fractured tibia (his lower rear right leg). The shattered bone needs very expensive surgery to repair. In the meantime, he is in a lot of pain. Please help to pay for his huge vet bill. We are waiting for the vet's exact estimate, but are guessing the cost will be at least $3,500. We will update this figure as soon as we get the vet's information.
He was found in a feral colony where volunteers feed and neuter the neighborhood stray and homeless cats. Snowball is only around 8 mnths old now and his rescuer already has him purring like crazy and wanting lots of pets.
Please donate as much as you can. And please send this to friends and cat lovers. He needs to have surgery urgently to assure a good outcome.
Thank you for caring. (All donations are tax-deductible. Peninsula Catworks is a 501(c)3 non-profit.)
UPDATE
Our guesstimate was way low. When we finally got the vet's actual estimate, it was $4,317. Wow! But Snowball is so worth it!

UPDATE
Cannot thank everyone enough for your ultra-generous donations. We have the surgery cost covered now. It is scheduled for Monday, February 24. Will keep you updated. THANK YOU ALL!
UPDATE Wednesday, February 26
“What the heck happened here?”
Snowball is slowly getting over his surgery. Not happy with his weird bandaged leg, nor with that horrible plastic collar thing. But he is eating and has managed to use his litterbox.

UPDATE February 28
Slowly recovering. Had bandage change yesterday at vet.
