The Natalie Celeste Romero Memorial Scholarship was established by a group of close friends who were searching for a meaningful way to honor Natalie and her passion for helping others, especially through her profession as a Social Worker.

This group of friends met Natalie in college at New Mexico Highlands University where Natalie obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work.

Inspired by Natalie’s passion for her profession and the people she served, the scholarship was created to honor Natalie’s memory and create a lasting legacy that will impact the lives of many.
