If you're anything like me, you've been fighting all your life. I sometimes fought with thoughts, feelings, habits, and even people. And to be honest, for most of my life, I was fighting a losing battle.

It was when I realized that fighting takes skills and that I needed to learn them before I ever started winning in life. It took time, the right attitude, leadership, resources, and learning how to open up about what I was struggling with before I ever started to experience the sweet taste of victory instead of the bitter taste of defeat. I've dedicated the last 6 years of my life to speaking and teaching about the importance of “Unpacking” and helping people fight for their lives by overcoming adversity.

You can't win a fight you're not in. Welcome to The Fight Club. I Am Jerrod Smith, the founder of The Fight Club. We help individuals and groups in our community overcome adversity by learning how to F.I.G.H.T.

This June, The Fight Club is hosting our third annual Let’s Unpack Community Workshop, and we need your support. After working with countless individuals and groups, we understand the necessity of educating our community about the benefits of mental and emotional expression. People all around us are suffering in silence because they have never learned how to express themselves or don’t feel safe enough to do so.

The Let’s Unpack workshop is designed to bring the community together and create a safe space to allow the participants to learn the significance of opening up and provide the space to do so. There will be education, practical exercises, and resources that each participant can implement to improve their lives.

We are partnering with various mental health advocates, organizations, churches, and businesses to create an awesome, diverse network and meet our community's needs.
