Hi Everyone! 

Thank you for stopping by to support Always A First Lady - the Musical!!!! YAY!!!* insert image of Kermit the frog screaming here. 

It has been a looooong road for us, years to be exact, to get where we are today. I didn't realize it would take this long either but hey, WE ARE HERE!!! 

So far, we have had two informal table readings of the script,  which went well and currently putting together a full readthru with music next month. After that, our hope is a Staged Reading in the Fall, where actors and musicians step away from script, and put it on it's feet. This is where producers, directors and industry folks come and see if it aligns with their Theatre's ideals for a future workshop and or a production in their upcoming season/s.   

That being said, this is also when things get really expensive, and involves a lot more moving parts and people's time. The costs of actors, a director, a music director, the venue, rehearsal rooms, music equipment, music stands, music scores, scripts, props, parking, lighting design, sound design, programs, marketing....ugh it really adds up! 

So, if you have it in your heart to support, we could REALLY use the help!
