When you make a meaningful philanthropic investment in your child's school, you are supporting services beyond our basic education requirements such as Montessori continuing education, movement and arts teachers, STEAM and gardening teachers and a literacy coach, to name a few.

Giving in 2021 also offers a unique financial opportunity to support your child’s school because of the extension of the CARES Act. The CARES Act includes provisions related to tax deductions for charitable contributions. Below is an outline of how you can take advantage of the benefits this tax year through your charitable gift to SF Public Montessori.

Individual's who itemize:

May deduct 100% of their adjusted gross income (AGI)

Taxpayer's not itemizing:

Individuals can take an additional above-the-line deduction for charitable gifts made in cash of up to $300

Married filing jointly, can take an above-the-line deduction up to $600 in cash contributions in 2021

Corporate Giving:

Corporations can deduct up to 25% of their taxable income for charitable giving in 2021
