Change is an inevitable part of life that comes along whether or not we’re ready for its arrival. When we are able to anticipate, welcome and navigate the winds of change with intentionality, that’s when it becomes true transformation. Similarly, conflict is a constant force that can power both our growth and our demise; it is up to us what we make of the energy of conflict, and if we direct it towards breakthrough or breakdown. These 2 lessons from my 12+ years with YES! have never been clearer than this past year.

At the same time that conflict rages in the world, the thousands of leaders in our global alumni community are continuing to empower one another in building a more just and more equitable future. We at YES! are doubling down on our commitment to inspire new systems and invest in the grassroots and frontline leaders who are deeply connected to people's daily lives, struggles and dreams. Our 15 Jams in the past year have touched the hearts and minds of over 300 community organizers and changemakers, and through them, many thousands of folks working to make the world a better, kinder and fairer place. This is in addition to dozens of workshops, reunions and Zoom calls for our Jam alumni across the globe.

With 18 Jams anticipated in 2024/25 in 7 countries, we will be reaching another 400 participants and equipping them with the tools they need to sustain and expand their projects and social impact. As we embark on our 35th year of service, I invite your continued partnership, feedback, and support of this critical mission.

People gifted with compassion and a desire to make a difference. People looking for healing, learning, and connecting at the personal, interpersonal, and systemic level.

Is a vibrant and dynamic body of people – staff, board, global program partners, alumni, and supporters – on a learning journey, seeking to live and work more consciously in alignment with our values. Our organization focuses on restoring balance sustainably and creating partnerships across historic divides. YES! brings these core elements into social change movements worldwide by creating transformational gatherings called Jams and building lasting partnerships with diverse social entrepreneurs to create intentional space for the role of love and spirit.
