Hi, I’m Natalie Todd, the Member Operations Director for the La Crosse Area Y, and I’m thrilled to be an ambassador for this year’s YMCA Giving Day, raising funds for a space that means so much to our community: the Dahl Child Watch!
I have the privilege of seeing firsthand all the families who use this space and understand how important it is for parents and caregivers to have a safe, fun place for their children while they take time to care for themselves. Over 10,000 children checked into the Dahl Child Watch in the last year alone, and it’s a space that’s cherished by so many families at the Y. That’s why we’re excited to give it some much-needed love!
While our Houser Child Watch has received incredible upgrades thanks to a very generous donor, we want to bring the same energy to the Dahl Child Watch. We’re aiming to refresh the space with new toys, equipment, and vibrant updates—including some exciting exterior touches—to keep it a magical place for kids to enjoy.
