The Charles Fikes Foundation is dedicated to supporting youth who have experienced adverse childhood events (ACEs) by providing holistic programs that foster resilience, emotional well-being, and lifelong success. To further our mission, we are building a safe space/room designed specifically for somatic and sensory experiences, including yoga, mindfulness, and meditation.

This space will serve as a refuge for youth, offering them tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and cultivate a sense of inner peace. It will be equipped with:

Calming sensory items like weighted blankets, essential oil diffusers, and sensory fidget tools.
Comfortable mats and props for yoga and mindfulness practices.
Soft lighting, sound machines, and tranquil decor to create a soothing environment.
