Flournoy Cares Foundation was born from legacy and lived experience — and “I Got Your 6” is the next chapter of that story.

The Flournoy family knows what it’s like to face challenges, to grow through struggle, and to turn pain into purpose. What began as a family’s determination to stand for one another has become a lifelong commitment to stand for others.

“I Got Your 6” comes from a phrase meaning “I’ve got your back.” For the Flournoys, it carries an even deeper truth. It honors six siblings — Faris, Caleb, Farrah, Crystal, Jessica & Joshua — who were raised to support one another through faith, love, and resilience — a bond that later expanded to include their brother Tavarus, who found his home among them and now stands beside them in this work.

Now, as businessmen and business women and respected community leaders, those same six — together with Tavarus — are answering the call to serve beyond their own lives, using their influence, experience, and compassion to make a tangible difference.

That spirit drives this campaign. Each sibling is stepping forward to lead a “squad” of supporters in a six-week race to Giving Tuesday — raising $36,000 to cover the needs of students, seniors, and families.

Every dollar represents a promise:

To help a senior feel seen and cared for.
To help a family find stability in the middle of hardship.

Flournoy Cares — founded by Faris and Caleb and guided by their mother, Ms. Evalena Flournoy, as Executive Director — continues to build on the same values that shaped their family: faith, love, and responsibility to others.
