We are a passionate group of teens from Congregation Ner Tamid in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA working together to make the world a better place. We are a teen philanthropy program who meet monthly and are guided by the Jewish values to make philanthropic decisions.

We are aiming to apply our Jewish values like Arevut an Avodah to a cause that impacts us and our community. After much debate and discussion, we selected the cause of mental health and wellness. This issue is prevalent among teens in our community and people everywhere.

We believe that everyone should have equal access to mental health care. In an age where mental health treatment is viewed with stigma and prevalent in the lives of our peers, we are united in building a world that treats all people with Kavod and understanding that we are all created B’tzelem Elohim, in the image of God.
