Giving Tuesday: Help Us Feed 50 Children in Cameroon
Feed a Child This School Year — Just $5 Provides a Week of Meals
Hunger is one of the biggest barriers to learning. In West Cameroon, many children, especially those impacted by the Anglophone crisis, go to school with an empty stomach — making it difficult to focus, participate, or dream.
Last school year, Yume Africa fed 25 children through our Food Assistance Program. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, those students received two meals a day from February to Mid-June.
This year, we’re expanding the program — doubling our impact so we can feed 50 children from December to June.
💛 $5 = Two meals/day for one child for a full week
💛 $20 = One month of meals
💛 $110 = Feed a child for the entire December–June period
💛 $220 = Feed two children for the full program
Our full cost is $6,000 to support all 50 children through the school year.
But for Giving Tuesday, we’re starting with a realistic community goal of $1,000 — enough to launch the first phase of the program.
Your donation directly supports:
✨ Daily nutrition for children who rely on school meals
✨ Increased attendance and classroom focus
✨ Better learning outcomes
✨ A sense of safety, dignity, and hope
This is more than a meal.
It’s an opportunity.
It’s a chance for a child to thrive.
And it’s a community coming together to make it possible.
