Joseph was a warm and loving person who cared tremendously for his family. He was a great father to his son, Nico.

Unfortunately, Joseph was also an addict and thought he had everything under control. His addiction changed him into someone that we, as his family, did not know- he became a stranger to us.

His overdose, which led to his death, was/is still a shock to all of us.

I, personally, am having difficulty understanding and dealing with his death and Sue Harrison, the founder of King’s Crusade, is helping me sort through my grief with the help of her weekly online support group.

We support those struggling with addiction and their families by "gifting" donations to further the recovery process, assist with placement into detox and rehab, entry fees into sober living homes, transportation to treatment, basic living needs
