Wink has fully healed from her enucleation, and now it’s time to turn our attention to something just as important—her breathing. She snores and snorts even when she’s at rest, a clear sign that breathing doesn’t come easy for her. During her previous surgery, the veterinary team also noted how difficult it was to intubate her due to her compromised airway.

That makes our next step clear: helping Wink breathe comfortably and safely.

Wink had a surgical consult this morning, where it was confirmed that she is an excellent candidate for airway surgery. While she is under anesthesia, she will also be spayed to minimize the need for future procedures and reduce the risks associated with multiple anesthetic events.
