Our team depends on student fundraising, donations, and sponsorships to cover essential costs, including materials, registration fees, and travel. Each year, we aim to raise approximately $65,000 to run a successful, highly competitive robotics program.

With your support, students gain hands-on experience in engineering, science, and technology, opening doors to scholarships and future career opportunities.

Who are The Chimeras? (Team 1684)
Since 2005, Team 1684 has thrived and evolved, thanks to the incredible support of our community. As a veteran team, we’ve earned numerous medals, awards, and achievements. We proudly compete at the highest levels in FIRST, from local events to the World Championships. Beyond competition, we’re deeply committed to our community, actively volunteering and mentoring young minds .

Being part of a robotics team offers students invaluable experience in areas like programming, computer-aided design (CAD), machining and tool skills, electronics, engineering, marketing, public relations, community outreach, youth mentoring, and so much more!
