As the school year comes to an end, who’s to say innovation stops then? Help support a group of Camden Catholic’s ambitious and bright-minded students in pushing the limits of creativity and engineering even further at NextFab this summer! CCHS is sending five students to compete against other high schools in a design challenge. Altogether, our fundraising goal is $8,000 to cover the entry fee!

NextFab is a “makerspace” located just over the bridge in Philadelphia. A “makerspace” is an environment with dozens of machines and resources open to use to bring to life ideas from all sorts of people who come to visit the space.

This upcoming July, NextFab is hosting a two-week competition for teens, chock-full with design and engineering challenges each day. To complete these challenges, competitors will be using using the makerspace’s machines and materials to exercise their creativity and abilities in fields such as:

2D and 3D Digital Design
Engineering/Problem-Solving
Carpentry
Soldering
Textiles
& More!

All gracious donations, no matter the amount, will help send these CCHS students to enrich their skill sets so that one day, they can change our world with innovation!
